After a long renovation period, the House of Photography in Prague’s Old Town reopened in 2013. Gallery Gambit

This small but very inspirational gallery is located in the historic area of Prague. The Gambit Gallery is situated in a small and very charming building, displaying quality photography by modern artists of the 20th century. Nikon Photo Gallery

Close to the river Moldau and next to the park Kinskeho Zahrada you will find the Nikon Photo Gallery. The exhibitions are mostly focused on street, architecture and landscape photography taking a nostalgic look at old Prague.

Czech Photo Centre

The Czech Photo Centre is situated in the south western of Prague surrounded by many beautiful parks. The centre offers exhibitions across genres and is focused on Czech and international talents as well as newcomers. In the open air area, the Czech Photo Centre regularly host street art events and interactive entertainment.

Brian Duckett, a former photojournalist, is a very passionate street photographer who decided to share his knowledge and experience. He organises workshops in Venice, London, Lisbon and also in Prague while he and his team are based in the UK. Brian’s intense one, two or three days workshops will teach you how to recognise a unique photo opportunity in an every day scene.

As a former journalist, he will also provide you with the knowledge of how to become nearly invisible to shoot your environment quietly and unobtrusively. Jan Miřacký Photography

Jan is a very experienced and well-travelled photographer. So far, he has lived in Finland for five years and has visited over 35 countries all over the world. Eventually, he fell in love with Prague and even founded a local photography club. He focuses mostly on landscape, street and travel photography and offers workshops for interested photographers. Jan’s courses are suitable for beginners and professionals and usually take around three to four hours with dates throughout the whole year.

Lean more about street photography and various techniques from a very vivid, funny, talented and passionate teacher. The courses cost around 130 euros. If you prefer a private workshop lesson, you can add another 70 euros and the teacher is all yours. The price also includes transportation if needed.

 

Martin Bisof

Martin Bisof is a professional street photographer and offers workshops in Myanmar, Iceland, New Zealand and Prague. He promises to help you to bring home the best possible pictures of the Czech capital. You do not need to waste time to find the best secret location in the city. On his photo tour, Martin will show you some hidden gems and teach you some awesome editing skills. He usually conducts his courses in small groups of three to five people.

Lastly, Katerina will upload your photos on her laptop to show you how to perfectly edit them. The course costs around 60 euros and Katerina will also provide you with a USB stick with you edited pictures at the end of the day. The course will be held in English.
